The journey to understand my father and share his story with the world has been a challenging, yet transformative experience. My father was a man of many voices - a polarizing entertainer, a resilient individual, a loving father, a dedicated husband, and a beacon of hope. However, his struggles behind the curtain remained shrouded in mystery, not least the circumstances surrounding his untimely death.
In creating this documentary, my aim was to provide a space for his voice to be heard once more, but also to grow closer to him, find closure, and the answers that would propel me forward in my life and career. His story is a testament to human resilience, the power of ambition, and the enduring spirit of hope in the face of adversity.
